They even have a special area for very young children to crawl through tubes and play with trucks, balls, and more! The museum has some fun activities outdoors, like the pool noodle maze and a pan musical wall to drum with large wooden spoons. There is a model train track and a large race track for toy cars. The Sandbox Children's Museum also has a large above-ground sandbox, too. There is a pirate ship that guests can climb aboard, a spaceship, and a castle. Some of the areas have dress-up clothes to help kids act the part as well. They have a grocery store/café space, a book area, blocks and large legos for building, an aquarium, a wall-size light bright, and a wall-sized chalkboard. There are different centers throughout the museum such as a veterinary office with stuffed animals and all the necessary equipment to take care of them. This museum is full of hands-on, interactive play opportunities that are sure to please children that are about 8 years old and under.
